			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sales of Blu-ray players (not including Sony PlayStation 3) in the United States, Japan, and Western Europe are <a href="http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=5244" target="_blank">expected</a> to top nearly 24 million units in 2010, including sales of 11 million players in the fourth quarter. At least 10% of these are expected to offer 3D playback, increasing to more than 25% in 2011. By 2014, nearly 40% of homes across these regions is expected to own a 3D Blu-ray player, recorder, or home theater.</p>
